The House

When the parental home of photographer Karin Borghouts was ravaged in a fire. She despite the near overwhelming emotions of sadness, confusion and irrevocability was none the less fasinated by the blackened beauty that the fire had left behind. Her intuitave decision to at that very moment document the charred interior has led to a series of haunting and moving images.
